Your Futures Attitude - A Survey - The Futures Lab 未來實驗室

Explorer Futures Lab would like to understand how people think about the future! What is our attitude for the futures? What do we think of the current trends? What do we hope for? What do we worry about?

At a time when AR, VR and XR is getting more and more developed, we would like to do a survey on the future attitude of a virtual world!

Notes on a few terms that we use in the survey:
- Virtual platform/Virtual spaces: Virtual 3D spaces where you can (i) navigate around as if in a physical space, (ii) interact with other who are in the same virtual space
- Avatars: a digital icon or figure representing a particular person on the virtual platform
- AR: Augmented Reality
- VR: Virtual Reality
- XR: Mixed Reality

To what extent do you agree with these statements: 1. By 2035, all schooling will be done online and there will no longer be any physical schools in the city I live in*

2. By 2035, I would only attend live performances (concerts, drama, dance, even fashion shows) over virtual performance spaces. Theatres no longer exist. After all, the best seat is my sofa.*

3. By 2035, over 50% of the wedding ceremonies would be held on a VR Platform. Everyone will attend the wedding remotely in virtual wedding halls. The bride and groom do not necessarily need to be in the same physical space either*

4. By 2035, branded AR digital clothes would be available online for consumers to purchase for video conferences or virtual space presence*

5. I am interested in making new friends in a VR meeting place where we only see each other's avatars*

6. By 2035, the concept of urban and rural becomes irrelevant because with XR, we can do any sorts of activities anywhere*
